The new ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo
After a long build-up of anticipation, the ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo were unveiled to the world on the 9th March 2022. The ID. Buzz is simple, modern and futuristic, while also being sustainable and the latest model in Volkswagen’s Way to Zero campaign.
Design
The ID. Buzz reinvents the legendary T1, bringing its iconic design into the age of electric mobility. A style-defining feature is the flowing silhouette with its flat and elongated roof line, running from front to rear. Compact proportions and a small turning circle ensure great everyday usability, allowing the ID. Buzz to manoeuvre dynamically through the streets despite its dimensions.
Sustainability
The ID. Buzz is not only all-electric but also sustainable. Instead of traditional leather the steering wheel is constructed with a non-leather alternative and both the ceiling and seats are made from recycled PET bottles. A true reflection of Volkswagen’s commitment to producing sustainable products.
Space and Technology
The electric drive technology makes room for a whole new use of the space. And some of the most advanced technologies are at work in the spacious interior of the ID. Buzz. Over-air-updates for features and functions. Car2X communication means the ID. Buzz can receive real-time traffic information. Along with assisted lane changing and park assist with memory function, these are just some of over 30 assistance systems available, taking the ID. Buzz a big step towards semi-automated driving.
The ID. Buzz Cargo
The ID. Buzz Cargo is modern commercial mobility at its finest. The ID. Buzz cargo offers electric drive, sufficient load space and long electric range, everything you’d expect from a modern commercial transporter. A load space for two Euro pallets and a maximum trailer weight of 1,000kg, while maintaining compact external dimensions. With rear wheel drive and a turning circle of just 11m it's ideal in tight city roads and parking spaces. As well as the latest network connectivity and digital features, it really can re-define your business’s mobility.
